WIN Job Center in Rolling Fork closes

The Rolling Fork WIN Job Center has been closed due to flooding and will reopen after floodwaters recede.

While the office is closed, customers are asked to use one of the agency’s other WIN Job Centers, the Mississippi Department of Employment Security said in a release Monday.

Vicksburg’s WIN Job Center at 1625 Monroe St. is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for Wednesdays when the office closes at 4 p.m.

Services remain accessible at the agency’s website, www.mdes.ms.gov.

MDES watching forecasts and the levels of the Mississippi River and its tributaries and will determine if other office closures are needed.

A federally funded state agency, the Mississippi Department of Employment Security provides job search and placement assistance and manages the state’s unemployment Insurance trust fund.
