Hogan to wed Katzenmeyer June 4

Mike and Sandy Hogan of Choudrant, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Nicole, to Alan William Katzenmeyer. Mr. Katzenmeyer is the son of Mike and Shelia Katzenmeyer of Vicksburg.
Miss Hogan is the granddaughter of the late Lorena Hogan, Bob and Billie Hogan and Clinton and Janice Hammons, all of Choudrant.
Mr. Katzenmeyer is the grandson of Bill and Jeannette Berry, Hardy and Margaret Katzenmeyer and Sandra Melsheimer, all of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Choudrant High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from Louisiana Tech University, where she served as president of the Student Government Association.
Miss Hogan is attending Mississippi College School of Law, where she is on the Moot Court Board and Law Review. She serves as casenote/comment editor for the Law Review.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Warren Central High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science in 2010 from Louisiana Tech University, where he served as vice president of Delta Chi fraternity, chief of staff of the Student Government Association and president of LA Tech Outdoors. He was 2011 first place Top Dawg New Venture Champion.
Mr. Katzenmeyer is pursuing a Master of Science degree in environmental biology at Louisiana Tech University and is a contractor with Bowhead Science and Technology for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center, Environmental Laboratory.
The wedding will be at 3 p.m. June 4, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Ruston, La. A reception will follow at Lincoln Hall in Ruston. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
