A Vicksburg man was injured in a Sunday night shooting.

Travis Bell, 21, 1201 South St., Apt. 207, was taken by private vehicle to River Region Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the lower back and released, hospital spokesman Allen Karel said.

Shots were reported fired around 8 p.m. at Waltersville Estates in the Kings community, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said. No suspects have been identified, she said this morning.
