RRMC admissions woeful

Over the past three months my husband and I have had to use the emergency room at River Region Medical Center. The registration here for a patient is simply atrocious and ludicrous.
On one visit I took my husband in for respiratory distress, and needed a wheelchair to take him in from the car. There were no wheelchairs in the front, and we had to wait for them to go and find one — after finally getting the two workers to come out from the back. (This problem, so far, seems to be corrected as there are usually chairs available now.)
The last visit we made, I was having a heart attack. We had to tap on the glass wall to get the lady’s attention, and asked to be allowed in. My husband told her that I was having the heart attack, but she made us wait there to get all our information. Then, she had to call for a nurse to come get me.
The patients should come first, and information later. The medical staff in this department is wonderful. The front admission window employees leave a lot to be desired.
