Participants in Camp Silvercloud, a three-day camp for disabled children and young adults sponsored by the Junior Auxiliary of Vicksburg, listen as Randy Lampkin demonstrates lassoing and talks about horses, horse safety and saddles Thursday during the camp’s cowboy-themed day. Campers were allowed to pet the horses, play pin the tail on the donkey and barrel race on stick ponies. The camp ran June 1-3 at the Knights of Columbus on Fisher Ferry Road.
