Services for Willie L. Burks will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greater Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Casey Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 tonight at Williams Funeral Service.

Mr. Burks died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Promise Hospital. He was 70.

He was retired from Vicksburg Hospital and was a member of Bethlehem M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Burks.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris L. Burks; four brothers, Walter Burks and Clifford Burks, both of Illinois, and W.L. Burks and Robert Burks, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mary Blue of Vicksburg, Nettie Parkman of Monticello and Rosie Burks Curtis Noford of Illinois; and two grandchildren.
