Miss Thomas marries Jones May 7 in Texas

Austin Douglas Jones and Jessica Marianne Thomas were married at 4 p.m. May 7, 2011, at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Brian Newman officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Ray and Elizabeth Thomas of Sherman, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Howard and Anna Marie Black of La Marque, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Raymond Thomas Jr. and the late Mary Ellen Thomas, all of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The groom is the son of Doug and Tina Jones of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Bobby and Ann Hannaford of Vardaman and the late Rev. and Mrs. David Russell and Martha Jones of Watervliet, N.Y.
Given in marriage by Dr. Ray Thomas, the bride’s chosen colors were purple and maroon. Music for the ceremony was presented by Anna Laura Page, Christina Harmon and Nancy Hill.
Maid of honor was Brittany Hicks of Austin, Texas. Bridesmaids were Amanda Thomas of Arlington, Va.; Laura Thomas of Woodinville, Wash.; and Ann Ashton Jones of Vicksburg.
Travis Cook of Dallas served as best man. Groomsmen were Ray Thomas of Woodinville; Jesse Van Wick of Alexandria, La.; and Drew Wethington of Des Moines, Iowa.
Ushers were Mark Gant, Josh Carroll, Henry Nguyen and Matthew Burks, all of Dallas; Russell Holmes of Brandon; and David Russell of Starkville.
A reception followed at the Museum of Biblical Art.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Oahu, Hawaii. They will make their home in Dallas.
The bride is a registered nurse in neurovascular ICU at Medical City Dallas Hospital, and the groom is a loan counselor at Litton Loan Servicing.
