TALLULAH — Vera Agnes Mitchell died Sunday, June 5, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe. She was 82.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Kentwood, La., and had lived in Tallulah since 1954. She was the owner of Star Drive-In Theatre and a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

Survivors include her daughter, Gwendolyn Sisk of Monroe, La.; a son, William Douglas Mitchell of West Monroe, La.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Sisk, Jonathan Sisk, Jeremy Sisk, Dustin Mitchell, Danny Ray Mitchell and Johnny Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Lee Mitchell.
