Gerard Patterson, left, and Joseph Fisher check out the classic cars at the benefit for flood victims Saturday at Vicksburg Mall. Music, food and fun were the attraction to raise funds for the flood victims, said Charles Pendleton, one of the organizers of the event. “Whatever we can get, we wanted to do something. We wanted to bring attention to the flood and that people will need help. This is our way of giving back to the community,” said Pendleton. At right, Eldridge Skinner sings for the audience; and below, Linda Crawford, from left, Doris Clavelle and Mary Jones clap along to gospel music.
