Graveside services for Helen “Tootsie” Hearron will be Monday at 11 a.m. at China Grove M.B. Church Cemetery with the Rev. Barrett Lewis officiating. Williams Funeral Services has charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Hearron died Monday, June 13, 2011 at River Region Medical Center. She was 79.

Ms. Hearron was a homemaker and a member of the Greater Mt. Alban M.B. Church. She was a former member of Mt. Salem M.B. Church and a graduate of Bowman High School.

Ms. Hearron was preceded in death by her father, George P. Hearron; her mother, Eunice Smith; five brothers, Louis King, Brison Hearron, Arnie Hearron, George Hearron and F.G. Hearron; and four sisters, Annette Johnson, Narnie Mitchell, Theresa Hearron and Eunice Walton.

Ms. Hearron is survived by her companion, Larry Anthony; four brothers, Kid Flash Hearron, Pat Smith and Luckie Hearron, all of Vicksburg, and Mack Hearron of Memphis; two sisters, Mamie Wilson of Hollandale, Miss., and Viola Hearron of Vicksburg; and family and friends, including Candice King.
