Someone needs to hold someone accountable for the mess on the public sidewalk on Clay Street next to the Adolph Rose building.

I watched as a tourist parked and his passenger tried to get out on the passenger’s side and ended up in that mine field of stuff that is on the sidewalk from the building that collapsed in 2006. The fence that was there also is lying on the sidewalk with pieces of steel that had held up the posts sticking up.

I can’t help but think city officials could do something about this. If nothing else, knock that one post and beam down that all of this garbage seems to be protecting.

Where are the inspectors?
