A Vicksburg man faces a charge of sale of cocaine after his arrest today by Vicksburg police narcotics agents, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

Stewart said agents arrested Oscar McNeil, 24, 514 Field St., at a home in the 500 block of Fairground Street at about 5:20 a.m. McNeil was being held without bond at Vicksburg Police Headquarters pending an initial appearance this morning in municipal court.

He said the arrest was the result of an investigation into complaints of drug activity in the Fairground Street area. No other arrests were made. He said McNeil was out on bond for charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon at the time of his arrest.
