A group of six pirates from New Orleans will be in Vicksburg Saturday to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and promote New Orleans tourism.

The Pirate Krewe, which tours across the country making appearances, will be at Martin’s at Midtown from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday with live music performed by Guitar Charlie.

There is no cover charge for the event, though donations to take pictures with the pirates will be accepted and donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, benefiting children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Martin’s at Midtown will offer a special menu for the event.

The free, interactive event is open to all ages.

The krewe will then complete a pub crawl to Beechwood at 8:30 p.m., the Pour House on Clay Street at 9:30 p.m. and Daiquiri World in Delta at 10:30 p.m.
