PORT GIBSON — Helena White Clark died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 49.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, George and Annie Lee White; and a grandson, Keith Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Clark Sr. of Port Gibson; two sons, Joe Clark Jr. and Melvin Clark, both of Port Gibson; three daughters, Tameca Shonta White and Lakisha Clark and Georgia Clark, all of Port Gibson; four brothers, George White Jr., John White, James White and Tony White, all of Port Gibson; seven sisters, Bertha Ellis, Betty Segrest, Annie Dotson, Patricia White, Carol D. White, Tonyunna Monroe and Dorothy Bell, all of Port Gibson; seven grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Renetta Harris and Thelma Dotson, both of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Awesome Christ Warrior Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Chester Watts officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson.
