After four weeks of meetings, the Warren County Long Term Recovery Committee became official Wednesday, organizers said, and will be ready to assist flood victims in a couple of weeks.

The group, spearheaded by the United Way of West Central Mississippi, is made up of about a dozen nonprofit and faith-based organizations.
