A Warren County homeowner in the 3900 block of U.S. 80 returned home Sunday after being gone for the weekend and found his dogs had been released from his house and some of his belongings were missing.

The two dogs were found in the backyard, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Missing from the home were old coins, a replica gun and three weapons — two .38-caliber revolvers and a 12-guage shotgun. The replica was described as that of a Navy Colt pistol.
