Salvation Army volunteers this weekend will host a bookbag project with hopes of filling 300 new satchels with school supplies.
Volunteers will be stationed at the entrances to Walmart to collect supplies for children whose families are not able to meet their needs. Donations will be accepted at Walmart Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
