4 sentenced in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Ronnie Ray Bell, 48, address unavailable, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to four additional years of probation and ordered to pay $4,327.50 in past due fines, fees and restitution, enroll in a 12-step drug and alcohol treatment program and obtain gainful employment within 60 days. Bell was indicted in October 2007 for aggravated assault with extreme indifference.
• Frederick J. Johnson, 26, 1151 Short Oak Road, Port Gibson, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and was sentenced by Chaney to seven years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in court costs. Johnson was arrested Sept. 3, 2010.
• Denise Lashay Kemper, 29, 2907 Washington St., Apt. 1, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to 42 days in jail followed by three years of probation, and ordered to pay past due fines and fees of unspecified amounts. Kemper was arrested Aug. 6, 2008, for sale of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and on Sept. 1, 2010, for embezzlement.
• Robert Lee McNeil, 59, 515 Stouts Alley, Yazoo City, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, third offense, and was sentenced by Chaney to the Ninth Circuit Court Drug Court Program for a period not to exceed five years, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $997.50 in costs. McNeil was arrested March 25.
