The engagement of Jessica Sherrie Hays of West Monroe to Christopher Chase Miller of Vicksburg is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Wilsonwood Lodge. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Hays is the daughter of Billy and Penny Hays of West Monroe and Cynthia DeLeon of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Bill “Pop” Hays and the late Carolyn Thornhill, both of Vicksburg.

Mr. Miller is the son of Richard and Janice Miller of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Bobby and Faye Sanders and the late Richard Wesley Sr. and late Edith Miller, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Warren Central High School.

Miss Hays is a district manager/buyer for River Outfitters of Monroe and Vicksburg.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Vicksburg High School.

Mr. Miller is employed in operations at Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant.
