John William VanNorman and Jenna Lowery, both of Vicksburg, were married at 11 a.m. May 27, 2011, in a private ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Herbert and Ellean Lowery of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Rozie Wardlaw of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Tony and Cheryl VanNorman of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Bettie Boyd of Vicksburg.

Maid of honor was Micki May Lynch of Vicksburg.

Parents of the couple honored them with a cookout on July 9.

Following a wedding trip to Orange Beach, Ala., the couple will make their home in Vicksburg.

The bride is a full-time radiology student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and the groom is employed at DiamondJacks Casino.
