PORT GIBSON — Paris Pearl Olivia Billings “Mama Dutch” Smith died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at her home. She was 104.

Mrs. Smith was a member, past usher and mother of Pine Grove Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Martin-Billings; her husband, James Smith Sr.; and a son, James Smith Jr.

Survivors include her four sons, Caleb Smith of Metairie, La., and Jesse Davis, Joseph Davis and Mack Davis, all of Port Gibson; one daughter, Tommie Wilson of Port Gibson; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 53 great-great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Pine Grove Christian Church with Elder James Devine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service at the church.
