Thomas Patrick Jackson

Thomas Patrick (T.P.) Jackson died Aug. 17, 2011, at St. Dominic’s Hospital. He was 40.

He was a member of Word of Faith Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Reginald L. Walker, where he remained faithful until his transition. He was employed at Ameristar Casino as the manager of transportation and valet.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, Willie Jackson Sr. and James Huntley; his maternal and paternal grandparents; one brother, Joseph Williams; and one sister, Rosie Williams Davis.

He was a graduate of Vicksburg High School, Class of 1990.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Pamela Roby Jackson; daughter, Zharia Patrice Jackson; mother, Hattie P. Huntley; sisters, Renee Reeves (Charles) of Vallejo, Calif., Talya Huntley of Daly City, Calif., Susie Huntley of Brookhaven, and Chevonne Allen (Horace) of Vicksburg; brother, Eric O. White of San Diego, Calif.; one uncle, Willie White; two aunts, Gloria Johnson of Sacramento, Calif., and Ethel M. Davis of Florissant, Mo.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including the Roby, Swartz, Johnson and Thompson families.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at the Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Reginald L. Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
