A Vicksburg man was arrested by police Wednesday on a charge of aggravated domestic violence, Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

Police responded to River Region Medical Center at 10 a.m. when a woman seeking treatment reported she had been strangled by her husband after they argued, Williams said.

After an investigation, police arrested Johnathan Anglin, 27, 5210 U.S. 61 South, she said.

Anglin was taken to the Issaquena County Jail, where he was held pending the posting of a $35,000 bond, said Williams.

The victim was treated and released, she said.
