Tommy McCaplin scored two touchdowns, Silento Sayles threw a pair of TD passes, and Port Gibson remained undefeated with a 49-6 rout of Coahoma County on Thursday night.

McCaplin returned the opening kickoff 45 yards for a touchdown to send Port Gibson (2-0) on its way. He later added a 12-yard TD reception from Sayles, who also connected with Calvon Smith for a 25-yard touchdown.

Arthur Turner scored on a 65-yard run for the Blue Waves, Adarius Barnes had a 45-yard TD run and Johnny Hulbert capped the scoring with a 15-yard scamper.

Port Gibson will return to action next Friday when it travels to face archrival Jefferson County.
