The Vicksburg Board of Aldermen presented what might be the final version of the city’s $28.79 million fiscal 2012 budget Thursday night, featuring no millage increases and no layoffs and a drop in projected property and sales tax and gaming revenue.

Warren County supervisors are expected to mull raises for at least some of its 270 employees before adopting a new budget. Both boards are expected to formally adopt budgets Sept. 6, with supervisors to hold a hearing at 9 a.m. on that day.
