A Friday night meet-and-greet will kick off the first all-class Rosa A. Temple High School reunion with a weekend of activities that includes a Saturday program and Sunday worship service.

Friday’s event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 115 Cypress Center Blvd., off South Frontage Road, and includes socializing, light hors d’oeuvres and a disc jockey playing oldies until 10 p.m., said Shirley Smith, a member of the reunion executive committee.

Various Temple graduating classes have held reunions in the past, but some alumni began thinking about holding an all-class reunion as the drive to get the school’s panel at the Riverfront Murals took shape, Smith said.
