Doris J. Lewis died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 72.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by one daughter, LaDonna Sias of Rolling Fork; six brothers, Robert Lewis of Fitler, Virdell Lewis of Vicksburg, Clinton Lewis of Greenville, Roosevelt Lewis of Chicago, Willie Lewis of St. Martinville, La., and Phillip Lewis of Alexandria, La.; three sisters, Ealsie Turnbull of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Bobbie Bryant of Capital Heights, Md., and Betty Dykes of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Baptist Church in Fitler with Pastor Virdell Lewis Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Fitler under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
