Eagles open district play at winless Ben’s Ford

Porters Chapel and Ben’s Ford are similar in two respects.

Both have an Eagle as their mascot. Both returned to 11-man football after a hiatus.

Friday, Porters Chapel (2-0) travels to Bogalusa, La., to play Ben’s Ford, a team in its third year of playing 11-man football. Ben’s Ford is 1-21 in their first two seasons back from a 20-year hiatus from playing 11-man football.
