Troy Jones, a laborer with the city building and maintenance department, coats the wrought iron fence at the Cedar Hills Cemetery with a rust inhibitor Friday morning. A crew of four began work on the section of the fence near the cemetery office on Lovers Lane Monday by scraping off the old paint. After the rust inhibitor, the crew will paint the fence. The cemetery is surrounded by about two miles of fencing that has to be painted, in sections, about every five years, said buildings and maintenance employee Frank Ashley.
