The Vicksburg Amateur Radio Club will offer a technical level ham radio class in the classroom complex of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center starting Oct. 11 and continuing weekly through Nov. 15.

Each of the six sessions are from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and cover basic electronics theory, operating procedures and rules and regulations. The course text, “The AARL Ham Radio License Manual” will cost each participant $22.50. The technician exam costs $15 after the class concludes.
