UTICA — For everything they put into their remarkable, exhausting efforts on Friday night, only three carries by Ledarion Robinson and Carlton Campbell seemed to matter at the end.

Robinson, Hinds AHS’ senior quarterback, highlighted a 304-yard rushing performance with a pair of long touchdowns.

Campbell, St. Aloysius’ senior tailback, lugged the ball 27 times for 141 yards and a score. The lone blemish came on his last carry, when he fumbled at the 20-yard line with a minute left. The costly miscue allowed Hinds AHS to escape with a hard-won 14-9 victory.
