This year’s Beautiful Bride Showcase, set for next Saturday at the Vicksburg Convention Center, “will be unlike your typical bridal show,” organizers say.

“We will offer a full wedding reception this year,” said Sue Bagby, administrative special events coordinator for the VCC.

Bagby said last year’s show earned praise from Venues Today, a trade magazine for the entertainment and sports venue industries. An April article said Beautiful Bride 2010 featured a new and aggressive marketing strategy, Bagby said.
