Allison Janell Davis and Larry Donnell Prentiss Jr., both of Clinton, will be married at 6 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Greater Grove Street. A reception will follow at Vicksburg City Auditorium. All relatives and friends are invited to attend, and semi-formal attire is encouraged.

Miss Davis is the daughter of Ora L. Davis and the late Charles L. Davis of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Willie and Minnie Reed of Inverness.

Mr. Prentiss is the son of Larry and Connie Prentiss of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Albert and Queen Prentiss of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She attended Hinds Community College and Virginia College and received an Associate of Applied Science degree in pharmacy technology. She was on the president’s list.

Miss Davis is a pharmacy technician at Walgreens.

The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Warren Central High School.

Mr. Prentiss is self-employed at LD’s.
