After two straight district games, Porters Chapel finally gets a break.

Not from playing, that is. The Eagles start a three-game stretch against non-district opponents tonight with Benton Academy (1-4) coming to town.

The good news for the Eagles (4-1) is that none of these games count toward the ultimate goal of a postseason berth. The only positives they can gain, besides a win, is getting some more bodies healthy and continuing to build the team’s offensive and defensive identities.
