A Brandon man faces a charge of possession of Ecstasy after his arrest Saturday afternoon during a traffic stop on Interstate 20 West near Bovina, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Pace said Robert Williams, 28, 252 Brandon Place, was stopped by a sheriff’s deputy for a moving violation. During the traffic stop, the deputy saw a small amount of marijuana in the car and arrested Williams.
While searching Williams after the arrest, he said, the deputy found a small amount of Ecstasy, an illegal drug that can cause hallucinations.
Williams was being held without bond in the Warren County Jail.
