A Vicksburg motorcyclist missing since Sunday was found dead late Monday morning blocks from his home after his bike apparently hit a utility pole and threw him a few feet, Vicksburg police said.
The driver was identified as Jeffery Dryden, 46, 610 Briarfield Drive, said Sgt. Jackie Johnson.
Dryden was found in a ravine off Holly Ridge Drive at about 10:50 a.m. Monday after last being seen by his wife at their home at about 2 p.m. Sunday. Coroner Doug Huskey pronounced Dryded dead at the scene from chest trauma. Both addresses are in Belle Meade Subdivision off Porters Chapel Road.
