Monday was registration and introduction class for a nine-week course co-sponsored by the department of parks and recreation. The class, taught by Betty Smith and Linsey Jordan, is AKC-regulated for pets to be taught to respond to such commands as “sit,” “stay” and “come” and how to properly walk on a leash.
