A Tallulah woman was in the Warren County Jail today after being charged with felony shoplifting Monday night, said Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart.
Detra Henton, 20, 1012 N. Madison St., was arrested at Dillards, Vicksburg Mall, 3505 Pemberton Square Blvd., at about 8:30, Stewart said.
Henton is accused of taking two Dooney & Bourke wallets valued at $128 and $185, and two Dooney & Bourke purses valued at $278 and $338. She was being held pending the posting of a $10,000 bond.
Shoplifting becomes a felony after two prior convictions or if goods valued at more than $500 are taken, Stewart said. Henton had no prior charges with Vicksburg police, he said.
