Antoinette Doris “Toni” Roberts, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home in Vicksburg with the Rev. David Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts enjoyed sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and working in her yard, and she loved the outdoors and observing nature. She served for many years as a cafeteria manager at St. Aloysius High School. In her earlier years, she was employed at Westinghouse, where she met her husband of 50 years, Jessie Roberts.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Tom Wells of San Francisco; daughters, Tina Janet Boggan of Greenwood, Mary Estelle Wilds of Vicksburg and Kim Marie Moore; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Walter Johnston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paws Rescue through any local veterinary clinic.
