A fire early this morning destroyed the 4828 Gibson Road home of Mike and Pamela Morgan, said Kelly Worthy, Warren County volunteer fire department coordinator.

The cause of the fire was unknown, as it progressed so rapidly through the older mobile home it was unclear exactly where the blaze started, Worthy said.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 3:25 a.m., remaining until about 6:45 a.m., he said. Fisher Ferry and Culkin volunteer fire departments responded.

One person was at home, “realized there was trouble and got out of there,” said Worthy. “He did good.”

No injuries were reported, he said.
