Trevor Cole Ferguson

GULFPORT — Trevor “Cole” Ferguson, 21, of Gulfport, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, in Gulfport. He was born in Norfolk, Va., and was a longtime resident of Gulfport. He was a member of Orange Grove Church of Christ. A trash talker, Cole was always smiling and liked video games and movies. He was a Mississippi State Bulldog fan and was Brett Favre’s biggest fan. He enjoyed special times with his mom.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Brown Ferguson.

He is survived by his father, the Rev. Les Ferguson Jr.; three brothers, Kyle Ferguson and wife Karissa, Conner Ferguson and Casey Ferguson; grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Les Ferguson Sr. and Dr. Bob and Joan Brown; and numerous cousins and family members.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 13, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Orange Grove Church of Christ, O’Neal Road in Gulfport. The service will be Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the church where friends may visit beginning at noon. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
