A Jackson woman was arrested Friday on 11 counts of credit card fraud that police say occurred at a Vicksburg casino.

Edell Mangum, 57, 1428 Plum St., is accused of stealing $2,187 over a month-long period using numbers from seven different credit and debit cards, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

She was a casino patron, not an employee, the lieutenant said.

Mangum was arrested at 2:12 p.m. at Riverwalk Casino.

She was released from the Warren County Jail on $110,000 bond.

Stewart said the charges go back to Sept. 3, when police received a complaint that a credit card had been stolen at the Warrenton Road casino. All the charges involve activity at Riverwalk, he said.

Police were able to get a description of Mangum through surveillance video, Steward said.

More charges could be filed, he added.
