Clara Rollison died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Heritage House Retirement Center.

Born in Delhi, La., Mrs. Rollison was a longtime resident of Vicksburg and the daughter of the late Jesse Lawrence Gibson and Essie Mae Shepherd Gibson. She was a graduate of Carr Central High School.

She retired from the City of Vicksburg as office administrator for Cedar Hill Cemetery with more than 20 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie R. McDermott (Jimmy) of Longview, Texas; a son, Michael Rollison (Stacy) of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren, Dustin Hearst (Christine), Vernon Hearst Jr., Elizabeth McDermott, James McDermott, Alicia Ashley, Kayla M. Rollison, Shane Rollison, Conner Shiers and Keione Mellon; and one great-granddaughter, Kaci Cheetham.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry F. Rollison, and one brother.

Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riles Funeral Home.
