Just heard about a fire that destroyed a home at 4828 Gibson Road in Vicksburg. This is the home of Mike and Pamela Morgan and their son, William Michael Morgan. Their son is an 18-year-old country music singer who has been featured in The Vicksburg Post before, as well as on numerous news outlets, including CNN. It is so sad to hear that this occurred to such a nice family.

I believe Vicksburg should gather together and nominate this family for the ABC “Extreme Makeover Home Edition.” Their trailer has been in disrepair for several years. Every last cent they had was spent on making sure their son succeeded with his musical career. But all that might come to an end if someone doesn’t step in and help them out.

The Morgans have given so much to the Vicksburg area, why not help give something in return.
