Mike Carlisle, general manager of Vicksburg Mall and Vicksburg Plaza, will be guest speaker for the Vicksburg Area Marketing Professionals meeting at noon Nov. 8 at the Ameristar Heritage Buffet.

Before becoming mall and plaza general manger, Carlisle was retail manager for Haggar Clothing Co. at the Outlets at Vicksburg. He also has been an area retail sales manager for ALLTEL, helped establish Mississippi Internet Services, was machine sales manager for The Office Supply Co., and assistant manager for Walmart stores in Fayetteville, Ark.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Mississippi, and is married to Kellye M. Carlisle. They have three sons and a daughter.
