Miller, Hays are wed at Wilsonwood Lodge

Christopher Chase Miller and Jessica Sherrie Hays were married at 4 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Wilsonwood Lodge. Dwight Sibley officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Billy and Penny Hays of West Monroe and Cynthia DeLeon of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Bill “Pop” Hays, Stella and Marvin Muirhead and Carolyn Parkerson, all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Richard and Janice Miller of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Bobby and Faye Sanders and the late Richard Wesley Sr. and Edith Miller, all of Vicksburg.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were lapis and ivory.

Maid of honor was Carrie Wade Head of Byram. Bridesmaids were Addie Lovato and Stephanie Durbyn, both of West Monroe, and Brittany Hays of Vicksburg.

Flower girl was Lana Annette Hubbard of West Monroe.

Timothy “Caleb” Worthy of West Monroe served as best man. Groomsmen were Guy Bezzeard, Chris Moore and Colby Miller, all of Vicksburg.

Ushers were Billy Hays and Dillion Hays, both of West Monroe.

A reception followed at the lodge. Hostesses were Cindi Massey and Janie Austin, both of Vicksburg.

For a wedding trip, the couple will travel on a Caribbean cruise in November. They will make their home in West Monroe.

The bride is employed with River Outfitters of Monroe and Vicksburg. The groom is employed at Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant.
