Dr. and Mrs. Philip Malone of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Pogue, to James Evan Huff Sr. of Wynne, Ark. Mr. Huff is the son of Bonnie Sue Huff of Wynne and Michael Dwight Huff Sr. of Sikeston, Mo.

Miss Malone is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fleck and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Malone, all of Louisville, Ky.

Mr. Huff is the grandson of James Levesque Shaver Jr. and the late Bonnie W. Shaver of Wynne and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hartzog of Sikeston.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of St. Aloysius High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and public relations from the University of Mississippi in 2003. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority.

Miss Malone is the corporate partnerships patient liaison at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Wynne High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas in 2003 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2007 from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Mr. Huff is a trust officer for the First National Bank in Wynne. He also serves as an alderman on the City Council of Wynne.

Vows will be exchanged Nov. 5, 2011, at the historic home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Smith in Birdeye, Ark. A celebration will follow.
