Services for Mickey J. Rush will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Susannah Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson.

Mrs. Rush died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. She was 88.

She was born in Chico County, Ark., to William Edgar Johnson and Mary Francis Hunnicutt. She was a longtime member of Hawkins United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Edgar Johnson Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edgar S. Rush; two sons, Henry M. Lee of Huntsville, Ala., and Paul L. Rush of Vicksburg; two daughters, Barbara Shannon of Hazlehurst and Sheila Rush of Byram; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Rush, David Lee, Joe Lee, Raymond Prescott, Andy Shannon, Rush Flowers and Michael Taylor.
