LUFKIN, Texas — Stacy McKnight died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, in Lufkin. He was 88.

Mr. McKnight was born in Luxora, Ark., to Floyd and Clara McKnight. He was employed for 33 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen McKnight; two daughters, Connie Ford and Patricia White; one son, Thayne McKnight; a sister, Estelle Conner; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
