Two men questioned in a sexual assault reported Wednesday were released by Vicksburg police and no charges have been filed, Lt. Bobby Stewart said today.

Stewart said the victim reported around 6:30 a.m. that she was raped in her home in the 2200 block of Drummond Street. The attacker entered through a window, Stewart said. It was not clear if the window was broken or left unlocked and opened.

The victim did not know her attacker, and nothing was stolen from the home, said the lieutenant.

No other potential suspects have been identified, said Stewart, and the case remains under investigation.
